If you love Pinot Noir, you will love Gamay Noir from Morgon and Fleurie “Cru”. More Pinot Noir in style than Cabernet Sauvignon, the best are medium-bodied, majestic, perfumed red wines with verve that balance, sometimes juicy fruit fruit with crunchy minerality all under an umbrella of balanced alcohol. They can be enjoyed young, but the best, especially Morgon “Cru”, can age for decades. Mine is organically farmed and hand made in every sense of the word. "Classic raspberry and plum aromas with a faintest trace of pepper mark the initial aroma. The wine improves markedly with several hours of air. Relatively rich entry, finish is superb. Best served with medium-weight foods. There are some tannins for structure, but impeccably balanced."
